Ambitious, Creative, Resilient… and a bit Nerdy

I specialise in Marketing, Growth, Project Management and Community

Professionally
My experience is across AAA and indie projects, I enjoy overcoming challenges and achieving results previously unthinkable. I've marketed and published games through every phase, and even revived titles that fell flat initially.

Some of my favourite projects have involved a long-term view of success. I’ve worked closely with dev teams to identify player engagement items, designed game post launch plans, and then executed post-launch content plans, including marketing beats, PR, creator engagement and creating social content while managing social channel strategy.
I have proven capacity for ground-up operational leadership, having designed and implemented the entire infrastructure (processes, support site, and risk protocols) needed to manage a growing Live Service community and customer support project.

‍ ‍I’m not afraid to get stuck in and welcome the opportunity to bring organisation, understanding, and leadership to deliver results for game projects across marketing and publishing verticles across video games, tech, entertainment, or anywhere else!

I’m degree educated, games are a huge part of my life (I met my husband through World of Warcraft!), and I am very ambitious.

Personally
Huge nerd. Simic Magic: The Gathering player, boardgames enthusiast, casual tech fan. I enjoy playing video games and keeping up to date with trends, news, patch notes, cool tech, you name it.
While “Friendslop” is having it’s moment, it’s a particular favourite genre of mine (although, I know it as social/party games). My social circle, employment, and relationships are predominately digital, so this genre of gaming becoming fashionable is awesome, both professionally and selfishly.
To name a few games I’m a fan of and play often:
World of Warcraft, Peak, Plants Vs Zombies, Rimworld, League of Legends, ISLANDERS: New Shores, Bandle Tale…

Beyond my career and previous projects, I’m a gamer at heart (YES im planning on getting in game WoW married whenever Blizzard finally adds that in) and I have a variety of hobbies and interests, plus an evil adorable cat too (he’s called Toast).
I’m based in Edinburgh and love living here, so I'm sadly unavailable for relocation, but I am interested in local in office roles, hybrid roles (within reasonable travel) and remote options.
